MAD Update – June 2014

What’s New!

The last month has seen us develop a range of workshops for community organisations. Our focus is to offer high quality support for your organisation along with practical training and workshops that are engaging, interactive and most importantly deliver the outcomes you are looking for. We continue to develop great workshops that we can deliver over a day or a few hours for your organisation. Find out more.

Food for Thought!idea

The website now has a Food for Thought section (just scroll down on our “Resources to Share” page). We love great inspiration from leaders and communities across the world and decided to share them with everyone.

The Power of Partnering

We love working with a range of partners to develop great projects and engage communities. The last month has seen Michelle working with groups across Victoria to work on some amazing projects from Community Resilience to Community Mentoring. Michelle is delighted to join the Volunteering Western Victoria, Governance Mentors program as a Mentor.

In the last month, I’ve had the pleasure of attending, the always thought provoking and entertaining “Communities in Control 2014: The Lucky Country Conference” hosted by Our Community and Catholic Care. Co-presenting workshops at the Association of Neighbourhood Houses and Learning Centres (ANHLC) Conference and Monash Universities Disaster Resilience Initiatives – “Building Community Resilience in Victoria” Forum with Mary Farrow from Emerald Community House.

We’d love to hear from you.

We always love to hear from our friends and colleagues. Contact us to chat about how we can support your organisation.
